Pamela Burkes has more than 20 years of experience in corporate event planning and special projects management. Prior to joining MovementForward, Inc., Pam served as an Executive Liaison to the Honorable Keisha Lance Bottoms, the 60th mayor of the City of Atlanta, Georgia. She honed her exceptional skills as a meeting planner while serving as Director/Corporate Meeting Planner at Travel Leaders Group where she worked from 2000 until 2020. Adept at organizing, coordinating logistics and leading teams to promote timely project delivery, Pam has been planning events since high school and loves the combination of creativity and organization that goes into planning events.

A lifelong resident of Georgia, Pam studied public relations at her beloved University of Georgia. She is a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. sorority and regularly volunteers her time. Pam and her husband James have been married for 22 years and have 2 adult children.
