Indianapolis FOP President speaks about our CBCR award on the White House lawn on Dec. 6th
On Dec 6th, 2019, the President of the Fraternal Order of Police in Indianapolis, Rick Snyder, had a chance to speak about issues in his community and ways they are addressing them. Among other projects, he specifically mentioned the OneCOP app and our award from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) to leverage technology as a bridge for the community. Through the BJA’s Innovation in Community Based Crime Reduction (CBCR) program, we were awarded $1 million over the next four years to develop a mobile application to augment the efforts of law enforcement to improve community relations in communities like Indianapolis.
